Just Enough Snow to Have Some Fun

Merry Merry Christmas 2007

This year we went to Vacaville, CA to spend Christmas with Brad's family. We drove the 8 and a half hour drive with surprising ease and had a great time. We had breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning at the Nut Tree and after that we had a blast running around riding rides. The boys then watched the BYU bowl game and put up the new TV for Papa and us girls went to a movie. It's always a fun time to go back to Brad's hometown. This Christmas was all about the princesses and like always some Dora. Sydney loves to be dressed from head to toe in her princess attire. Our little B loved just being apart of the party and playing with the wrapping paper and bows. Thanks to Nana and Papa for the good food and fun time.

Vegas Baby

When Brad said that he had a training seminar in Las Vegas I jumped right in on that get away chance. We left the girls in Utah with the family and off we were for a few days of fun without the kids. It was a great time of shopping, eating, show watching, and more shopping. Gotta just love The Vegas. We went one night to see Love (a show by Cirque Du Soleil) and it was just amazing. We would recommend the show to anyone who is in Vegas for a visit. It was a great time for Brad and I to spend time together and we thank the family again for watching our two crazy girls.

Sweet Sisters

Thanksgiving 2007

This year we went to Utah to have Thanksgiving. It was a fun trip filled with birthdays, midnight shopping, movies, card playing, video gaming, cougar football, kangaroo jumping, and lots and lots of good eats. It was a successful Black Friday for Brad (I know this because the Expedition was completely full for the drive back to home). The girls braved the midnight madness shopping at Southtown Mall. We were so buzzed be the shopping that it didn't even matter that it was 2AM and we weren't sleeping. Sydney had a blast bossing around her cousin Gavin and playing with her other cousin Josie. We couldn't tear her away from her new favorite Dora and Diego hideout at Grandma's. What a time it was trying to get a holiday picture for Grandma's Christmas card of the kids. Brooklyn was a ham, but little Sydney and Gavin just kept playing do as the other is doing. Hopefully they got one decent shot of the three. Its always a fun time when the Blomquists get together. We are loving this holiday season and are looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. We hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Go Broncos!-

We are truly bleeding blue and orange. Its been a lot of fun becoming BSU fans here in Boise. We are lucky to get tickets from Brad's work. On Saturday we went to the San Jose game and we took our friends the Tanners. We both brought our two kids with us (weren't we brave), but it turned out to be a fun time. And we killed San Jose!-

Princess Sydney & Princess Brooklyn

Well Sydney is all about the princesses. She can't just wear her normal "Sydney clothes" as she calls them and insists on wearing her princess dresses all the time. Today she decided that she needed a princess hat, so what did we do? Oh yeah, we made one for her and then when we finished we had to make B a princess hat too. I don't know where this girly girl of mine came from. I left the dresses and barbies to my sisters and I was the girl who was happiest all covered in mud on the soccer field. But I am loving experiencing this with my little princess.

Funny Brooklyn

This face was just too funny, I had to post this picture. I don't know what caused her to make this face, but i am sure glad that i captured it. Any thoughts on a funny caption for this photo?

Halloween Time

How cute are these two cheerleaders? Oh Halloween is just Sydney's new favorite Holiday. She just kept running from house to house yelling, "yeah more treats". She had such a great time with our neighborhood friends. Brooklyn did her best to stay awake bundled in the stroller. Our neighborhood was alot more lively this year with more people having moved in from last year. We were just grateful for the warmer weather. Now what do we do with all of this candy?
