Summer Summer Time!!!

Lame mom making Sydney wear the hat and sun shirt.

So they each needed their own pool of fun.

B was making herself laugh so hard kicking and splashing the water, even if it was only 2 inches of water she still loved it.

Oh yeah the warm weather is here and it's about time! We had to make due on Friday and play with our little pools in the backyard because the neighborhood pool didn't open until Saturday- wahoo! We sure are going to be the pool rats this summer and we can't wait.

My Favorite Chicken Salad

Dressing

1/3 C extra virgin olive oil
1/8 C sesame oil
1/4 C sugar
2 T balsamic vinaigrette
1 t salt
1/2 T minced dry onion
1 T lime juice
2 T chopped parsley
(Blend all together)

Salad

3 C baby spinach
2 C red grapes halved
7 oz fusilli pasta (under cooked with lots of salt in the water while cooking)
1 pear thinly sliced
1 jar marinated artichoke hearts (drained)
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 bunch green onion sliced
5 chicken breast cooked, cooled, and shredded
(top salad after tossing with sesame seeds)

Chicken Marinade

1/3 part teriyaki sauce
1/2 bottle Lawry's Mesquite with lime juice marinade
1/3 part Newman's Balsamic Vinaigrette
Dash each side of the chicken breast with lemon pepper while BBQing.

Brooklyn's B-day in Utah and BECKHAM!!

Oh yeah there he is! David Beckham!

Number 23!

Here we all are dressed in our SLC REAL gear to go and watch David Beckham play. We are so lucky we went to this game. We got to see Beckham score two of his famous "bend it like Beckham" goals. He was right there in front of us and we were all screaming like girls watching him. Sorry Brooklyn for leaving you on your birthday to watch a soccer game. Hope you will forgive me someday.

Brooklyn is trying out her new ride on Lion toy that she got from Grandma and Grandpa.

We had a fun trip to Utah to see our little niece Sayla get blessed. Sayla you are so sweet and we just love you. Thanks for the fun short trip everyone!

Brooklyn's 1st Birthday Party!

Yeah presents! Lucky we had Sydney to open ALL of Brooklyn's gifts!

It was such a cute PINK party and so fun to plan and set up.


And when the party was over we only had one cupcake left! Probably because Lacey forgot to serve the ice cream that was stocked in the freezer with them.

Oh and the cotton candy was sure a hit and the perfect decoration too! Thanks Emily for the help in making the bags so cute.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn!

I can't believe my little B is already one! Time just goes by too fast with these sweet babies. Brooklyn turns one tomorrow on May 3rd and she shares her birthday with her Aunt Jessica-Happy Birthday Jessica! Brooklyn has just been the perfect little addition to our family. She is the sweetest easy temped girl . Just my happy happy baby. I love her drooling wet teething face. She is our little scooter now, doing the butt scoot all around my house. I guess our kids are in no hurry to move, since both girls didn't start moving until they were just on 12 months old! Well we can't wait to celebrate our little princess Brooklyn. We love you baby B. This is my first Birthday party outfit I made for her, so you'll have to wait for her party pictures to see the final look. Of course i had to make two skirts because Sydney said that this one was hers!
