Sydney the Artist

We were having fun today doing a little art project. We are taking offers on Sydney's artwork starting at $100 a peice and she will do custom peices as well. Anyways, she had a lot of fun and i thought i would share her work for her that she is so proud of. She ran to daddy when he got home from work to show him her "colors" and she showed all her neighborhood friends the mess we made in the garage.

Fun at Grandma Great's in Cali

On Saturday morning, while in Cali we went to meet Walt and to see the Schwarz boat. And then for lunch we met John and Jessica at the Grove in Beverly Hills for a Suishi and Pinkberry-yum. For dinner on Saturday night we went to Grandma Bonnie's house for a BBQ with the family. Everyone was so excited to meet Brooklyn and to see how little Sydney has grown up. Sydney had a lot of fun trying to keep up with little crazy Mason. Here are some pictures of the kids and of Aunt Heidi and Cousin Alicia.

First Cereal for Brooklyn

Well Brooklyn is almost five months old and it was time to start the fun cereal battle. Where has the time gone? I can't believe that its almost October and that my baby is going to be five months old. Its scary how fast time goes. Brooklyn did great with the cereal and we are hoping this will help to fill her up so much that she will never wake up durning the night again. Oh wouldn't that be great. So here are some pictures of her first tries at eating like a big girl.

Disneyland

We braved the trip to Disneyland and it turned out to be a great time for everyone. It was like a dream come true to Sydney. She couldn't control herself when she would see her favorite characters. It was very cute to watch her totally freak out to see these characters in real life. The first character she saw was Mickey Mouse and so then the whole day she walked around telling everyone that she kissed Mickey Mouse. Little Brooklyn was a dream baby and was just happy as a clam to be pushed around in the stroller all day. We loved the parades and the Playhouse Disney show at California Disney. Sydney also loved the pirates of the carribean ride and still walked around the house yellling the "yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me". We will be back to visit Mickey and his friends soon. We just couldn't have had a better time with our girls at the happiest place on earth. Sydney is all about the princess dress up now and wants everything to do with all the princeses. If anyone is going to Disneyland or California Disney anytime soon, we discovered a great and cheap way to get tickets.

Like Father, Like Daughter

So i am embarrassed to say that this is Sydney's new favorite place to keep her fingers. Hopefully this is just a normal stage that kids go through? Any advice on how to stop this?

Utah for Labor Day Weekend

We decided last minute to go down to Utah for the BYU football game. It was a fun game, but we sweat to death watching it. Grandma watched the girls so Brad and I could go to the game in peace. We all got our BYU appearl. The girls got cute matching BYU cheerleader outfits. Here are some pictures of Sydney and Brad feeding apples to horses by grandma's house. Sydney could feed those horses all day long!
